Very good condition antique British Webley Metropolitan Police Model Revolver in .450 centerfire caliber. Mechanically functions fine in both single and double actions. Mechanically functions fine and tight in both single and double actions. Nice manufacturer markings. Marked “P over 266” on the front of the frame, which is a rack number marking, possibly for the New South Wales Police. Metal finish is nice original blue showing some normal wear. 2 ½” barrel has a very good bright bore with strong rifling and a little light pitting. Wood grip has original finish and a good tight fit with some normal handling marks. Original lanyard ring is present. A nice antique Webley M.P. Model revolver that will make a fine addition to a collection.
