WWII GREEK FN MODEL 1930 MAUSER RIFLE

WWII GREEK FN MODEL 1930 MAUSER RIFLE-NICE CREST-MATCHING NUMBERS

Very good condition WWII Greek FN Model 1930 Mauser Rifle in 8mm Mauser (7.92 x 57) caliber that has a nice Greek crest on the receiver ring and Fabrique Nationale manufacturer markings on the side rail. Rifle is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers including receiver and bolt. Rifle has the “Delta” serial number prefix and was built as part of the March 1939 contract. This interesting gun was captured at the FN factory in Belgium by the Germans during their 1940 invasion, and never actually made it to Greece. Stock has no visible markings, which is correct. Bolt is blued, also correct for German used guns. Metal finish is nice original blue showing a little normal wear. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Left rear of handguard has a small chip. Complete with a replaced cleaning rod. A nice Greek FN Model 1930 Mauser Rifle.
