Good condition original antique French/Belgian .58 caliber percussion muzzleloading target pistol that is marked “LEPAGE A. PARIS” on the lock and has a Belgian proof mark on the barrel. Mechanically functions fine, but hammer sometimes doesn’t catch when cocked. Features a set trigger. Metal finish is original “in the white” with some gray and brown patina. 10” octagonal barrel has original sights. Bore is dark and pitted with good rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some handling marks. Right side of stock has two cracks below the lock and right side of forend has a chip. Left side of stock has a crack below the breech. Grip has original checkering. A classic Lepage pistol that will make a great addition to a collection!
