Good condition antique Swedish Model 1894/14 Mauser Carbine in 6.5 x 55mm caliber that was manufactured by Carl Gustafs in 1898, as marked on the receiver. Carbine is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers except the stock, handguard, buttplate, barrel band, triggerguard, and nosecap. Metal finish is reblue. Bore is very good and bright with strong rifling. Stock has been refinished. Wrist has a repaired break. Right side buttstock has original brass unit marking disc that is stamped “Gb K / M / 3640” for the Coastal Artillery in Goteborg. A hard to find antique dated Swede Mauser Carbine that will make a great addition to a collection.
