About very good condition WWII German 98k Mauser Rifle in 8mm Mauser (7.92 x 57) caliber that is marked “bnz. 41” on the receiver for manufacture by Steyr in 1941. Rifle is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers. Metal finish is original blue showing some normal wear, heavier on the triggerguard and floorplate. Bore is poor, gray and pitted with very worn rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Right side buttstock has “eagle H” and Waffenamt cartouches. Underside of buttstock has a matching serial number and a Waffenamt. Underside of wrist has two Waffenamts. Complete with correct original cleaning rod and front sight hood. A nice WWII German 98k Mauser rifle with matching numbers.
