Good condition antique Whitney Kennedey lever action small/light frame rifle in .44-40 Winchester caliber. Mechanically functions fine. Metal finish is original blue showing wear to brown and gray patinas. 24” octagonal barrel has original sights. Bore is fair with some pitting and has average worn rifling. Forend has original finish and shows some wear and handling marks. Both sides have a crack. Buttstock has been refinished. Wrist has a few hairline cracks. Buttplate has a chip at the toe. A hard to find Whitney Kennedy lever action rifle in any condition!
