Very good condition WWII German G43 semi auto rifle in 8mm Mauser (7.92 x 57) caliber that has the uncommon “bcd” code on the receiver for manufacture by Gustloff, which only made about 40,000 guns. Not dated, as is correct, and has the distinctive sunburst marking. Rifle is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers. Mechanically functions fine and complete with correct original magazine. Metal finish is original blue showing some normal wear. Bore is good, mostly bright, with good rifling that shows some normal wear, and a little pitting. Stock has been refinished. Right side of sling cutout has some dings. Underside of buttstock has a delamination crack. Underside of wrist has a Waffenamt. Complete with correct original cleaning rod, front sight hood, and muzzle thread protector. A good example of a hard to find “bcd” code G43 rifle with that will make a fine addition to a collection.
