Very good condition post-WWII Belgian FN Model 1930 Mauser Carbine in .30-06 caliber. This unusual variation has the extended barrel with a threaded muzzle, for use with the FAL grenade launcher. Blank receiver ring. Receiver side rail has Fabrique Nationale manufacturer markings. Uncertain which country purchased this gun, possibly Colombia or Morocco. Gun is import marked on the barrel and has all matching serial numbers including receiver, bolt, and stock. Metal finish is nice original blue. Bolt and buttplate are original “in the white, with some gray and brown patina. Bore is about good, with strong rifling and some oxidation and pitting. Stock has original finish and shows some handling marks. Left side of rear of handguard has a chip. Right side of stock has a matching serial number below the receiver. Right side buttstock has white painted numbers. Complete with correct original cleaning rod. An interesting FN M1930 Mauser Carbine for your collection.
