Very good condition WWII US military semi auto M1 Carbine in .30 Carbine caliber that was manufactured by Inland, as marked on the receiver. Receiver is serial number 628xxx, which dates it to manufacture in the first block of Inland production, from May 1942-December 1943. Gun is NOT import marked. Late adjustable rear sight, marked “H in shield” and “MMQ” marked bayonet lug band. M2 stock is marked “STD PROD RWH” in the left side buttstock. Otherwise all Inland parts. Barrel is dated “8-43” for August 1943. Metal finish is original gray parkerized showing a little normal wear. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Underside of wrist has painted “10-13”. A nice Inland M1 Carbine that will make a fine addition to a collection!
