Very good condition WWII US military style Winchester Model 12 “trench gun” 12 gauge pump action shotgun. This is a 1930 production Winchester Model 12 that was altered to trench gun configuration, NOT an original US military contract gun. Right side of receiver has bogus “U.S.” and “flaming bomb” markings. Serial number 653xxx, matching on receiver and barrel. Barrel was original a “MOD” choke and was shortened to just under 21”. Bayonet adaptor/heat shield appears to be a reproduction. Gun mechanically functions fine. Metal finish is original blue showing some normal wear. Bore is bright and excellent. Stock has nice even finish. Has an added sling swivel in the buttstock. A classic Winchester Model 12 trench gun that will make a great shooter, a good display for a collection, and work well for a reenactor!
