Good condition antique British Webley “WG” (Webley Government) Model Target Revolver in .455 caliber. Single action only, mechanically functions fine. Marked “ARMY & NAVY C.S.L.” on the barrel. The Army & Navy Cooperative Society Limited was an organization that offered firearms to British military personnel. Metal finish is original blue showing some wear. 7 ½” barrel has a fair bore with good average rifling and some oxidation and pitting. Wood grips have original finish and checkering, and a good tight fit with some dings and a few chips. Original lanyard ring is present. A hard to find Webley revolver that will make a fine addition to a collection.
