Very good condition WWII US military issue Savage Model 720 semi auto shotgun, used for aerial gunner training. Mechanically functions fine. Early war gun, serial number 68xxx, with an engraved receiver. Has original US military markings, including “P” and “flaming bomb” on the receiver and barrel and “U.S.” on the receiver. Metal finish is nice original blue showing a little normal wear. Barrel measures 27” long including a Poly Choke attachment, and has a bright excellent bore. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Wrist has original checkering. Left side of heel has a chip. A nice original US military marked Savage Model 720 that will make a fine addition to a collection.
