Good condition WWII German G.33/40 Mauser Mountain Carbine in 8mm Mauser (7.92 x 57) caliber that is marked “dot” on the receiver ring for manufacture at BRNO in occupied Czechoslovakia and dated 1942. Carbine is NOT import marked and has matching serial numbers on the receiver, barrel, and stock. Bolt, floorplate, and handguard do not match. Metal finish is original blue showing some wear. Bore is gray with good rifling and some pitting. Stock has been refinished and shows some normal handling marks and wear. Complete with correct original cleaning rod and front sight hood. A good representative example for your collection.
