Good condition antique Imperial Russian Model 1856/69 Krnka breechloading conversion infantry rifle in 15.2 x 41r caliber. Mechanically functions fine. Lock is dated 1860 and barrel is dated 1872. Brass breech has nice looking patina and a crack. Metal is in the white, with some gray and brown patina and some scattered pitting. Bore is gray with worn rifling and some pitting. Stock has been refinished and shows some handling marks. Buttstock has some worm damage. Underside of forend has a crack in front of the triggerguard. Right side buttstock has a faint roundel cartouche. Complete with a replaced cleaning rod. A hard to find Krnka rifle that will make a fine addition to a collection!
