Good condition WWII Japanese Type 38 Arisaka Carbine in 6.5 x 50mm caliber that has a full untouched mum on the receiver and was manufactured as part of the 4th Series by Nagoya Arsenal. Carbine is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers including receiver, front band, floorplate, bolt body, safety, and firing pin. Metal finish is original blue showing some wear and some scattered light pitting. Bore is good, mostly bright, with strong rifling and a little pitting. Stock has original finish and shows some wear and handling marks. Underside of buttstock has two small kanji character inspector proof marks. Complete with correct original cleaning rod. A good example of a T-38 Carbine with mum and matching numbers.
