Excellent condition original WWII German “Z Pistole” combat flare pistol that is marked “ayf 42” on the left side of the frame for manufacture by ERMA in 1942, and is marked “Z” on the left side of the barrel. Features a rifled bore and could use standard flares, as well as rifled grenades and signal cartridges. Mechanically functions fine and tight. Metal finish is excellent original black showing very little wear. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Checkered Bakelite grips have a good tight fit and no damage. Original lanyard ring is present. A rare WWII German Z Pistol that will make an excellent addition to a collection.
