Good condition original WWI US Model 1905 bayonet that is marked “R.I.A.” on the left ricasso for Rock Island Arsenal and dated 1918 with a flaming bomb. Right ricasso is marked “US” with a serial number. Bayonet has original blue finish. Blade has some areas of green paint and brown scale. Wood grips have original finish and a good tight fit with some normal wear and handling marks. Lock button functions fine. Fitted in an original WWII US Navy MK 1 scabbard that has nice original green finish and no damage. A good example of a classic US M1905 bayonet.
