Good condition original antique Italian .69 caliber rifled musket that was a clone of the French Model 1842. Lock has Napoli Arsenal markings. Barrel is dated 1851 or 1852, a little hard to rear. Mechanically functions fine. Metal is “in the white” with some scattered graying and light pitting. Has been cleaned. 40 ½” barrel has original sights and bayonet lug. Bore is dark and pitted with average worn rifling. Stock has been refinished and shows some handling marks. Complete with correct original ramrod and socket bayonet. Bayonet is in very good condition. Fit on rifle is a little stiff. Complete with working lock ring. A hard to find Italian military musket that will make a fine addition to a collection.
