Very good condition antique Japanese Type 22 Murata Rifle in 8mm Murata caliber that has a full untouched mum on the barrel and nice kanji character markings on the receiver. Rifle is NOT import marked and appears to have all matching assembly numbers except the bolt head. Missing the ejector, otherwise mechanically functions fine. Metal finish is original blue showing some normal wear. Bore is good with strong rifling and somewhat dark. Stock has original finish and shows some handling marks. Left side of stock has a crack by the buttplate. Right side buttstock has a roundel cartouche. Handguard is absent. A nice Japanese Type 22 Murata Rifle for your collection.
