NO IMPORT-NO FINN-EARLY TYPE HANDGUARD-SCARCE GUN
Good condition WWI Imperial Russian Model 1891 Mosin Nagant Rifle in 7.62 x 54r caliber that has Izhevsk Arsenal markings on the barrel and dated 1907. Rifle is NOT import marked and NOT Finn marked, and has nonmatching numbers. Bolt is unnumbered. Metal finish is original blue showing wear to brown patina. Bore is good, a little gray, with strong rifling and some pitting. Stock has been refinished and shows some handling marks. Left side of stock has a crack by the rear of the receiver. Complete with correct original cleaning rod. A hard to find early M91 Mosin Nagant Dragoon Rifle.
