Very good condition original WWII German army officer dress sword that is maker marked “P.D. LUNESCHLOSS SOLINGEN” on the left ricasso. 32” blade has nice original bright finish and was never sharpened. Beautiful sharp clear etched panels on both sides. Both sides have the eagle and swastika. Unit marked to the 3rd Artillery Regiment on the right side. Brass hilt has attractive patina. Right side of guard has eagle and swastika. Left side guard langet has engraved “D” and an enamel 1914 Iron Cross attached. Lion head pommel has intact red glass eyes. Grip has tight wire wrap and no damage. Complete with correct original knot that shows some normal wear. Fitted in correct original steel scabbard that has nice original black paint and no dents.
