
Good condition original WWII Indian MK II Gurka Kukri knife that is marked “RFI” on the right side of the blade for manufacture at Ishapore Arsenal and dated 1927 with the model designation. 14” blade has original bright finish mostly turned gray and brown patina with a little pitting. Edge has a few nicks. Wood grips have original finish and a good tight fit with some normal handling marks and a few small chips. Fitted in correct original leather covered scabbard that is marked “A.A.” and dated 1940. Scabbard shows some normal wear. Also complete with original leather frog that is pliable with tight stitching and shows some normal wear. Frog is maker marked and dated 1942. A hard to find Indian military issue Kukri that will make a great addition to a collection!
