Good condition original British No. 5 MK I Enfield Jungle Carbine bayonet that is marked “circle P” on the left ricasso for manufacture by Poole and dated 1947. Blade has nice bright finish. Hilt has been cleaned bright, with a little gray and brown patina. Wood grips have original finish and a good tight fit with some handling marks. Lock button functions fine. Fitted in correct original steel scabbard that is in excellent condition with nice original black paint finish and no dents. Also complete with an original South African leather frog that is in excellent condition. Leather is soft and supple with a little normal wear, stitching and rivets are tight. A hard to find original Jungle Carbine bayonet.
