Excellent condition Hungarian Model 1944 Mosin Nagant Carbine in 7.62 x 54r caliber that has the “02” code on the barrel and dated 1953. Carbine is import marked on the barrel and has all matching serial numbers including barrel, bolt, floorplate, and buttplate. Metla finish is excellent original blue showing just a little normal wear. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and crisp edges with some normal handling marks. Right side buttstock has sharp clear “circle B” and “02” cartouches. Complete with correct original cleaning rod. Folding bayonet functions fine. A really nice Hungarian M44 Carbine with matching numbers!
