Very good condition Winchester Model 12 Riot Gun 12 gauge pump action shotgun that is serial number 1321xxx, which dates it to manufacture in 1952. Issued to the Kentucky State Police and is marked “KENTUCKY STATE POLICE PROPERTY” on the left side of the receiver. Left side of receiver also has an electric penciled “1733-39” inventory number at the rear. Metal finish is nice original blue showing very little wear. Top of receiver has three small filler screws. 19 ½” barrel has a very good bore, mostly bright with a little fouling. Stock has original finish and shows a few normal handling marks. Wrist has a hairline crack. Fitted with a Hawkins red rubber recoil pad. A hard to find Kentucky State Police marked and issued Winchester Model 12 shotgun. I have confirmed the existence of other Model 12 Riot Guns with close serial numbers, also marked the same way to the Kentucky State Police.
