Very good condition WWII German 98k Mauser Rifle in 8mm Mauser (7.92 x 57) caliber that is marked “bcd 4” on the receiver ring for manufacture by Gustloff in 1944. Rifle is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers. Metal finish is original gray phosphate showing some normal wear and some brown patina. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Right side buttstock has an “eagle H” army property cartouche. Underside of buttstock is marked “C”, which is correct for Gustloff manufacture. Complete with correct original cleaning rod, front sight hood, and leather sling. A nice Gustloff 98k Mauser Rifle with matching numbers.
