Very good condition original WWII German Luftwaffe Fl 24483 double barrel flare pistol that is marked “GBW” on the left side of the frame for manufacture by Gustav Bittner, and dated 1941 along with a Luftamt proof mark. Mechanically complete and functions fine. Metal finish is original black showing some normal handling marks and dings. Underside of left barrel has a deep gouge. Bores are very good and bright. Checkered Bakelite grips have a good tight fit and no damage. Gustav Bittner only produced about 15,000 Luftwaffe double barrel flare pistols. This rare WWII German Luftwaffe flare gun will make a fine addition to a collection.
