Fine condition French Mle 1944 MAS semi auto rifle in 7.5 x 54mm caliber. Rifle is import marked on the barrel and has all matching serial numbers including receiver, forestock, buttstock and spike bayonet. Metal finish is excellent original black paint and parkerized. Plastic bolt handle has a few cracks, which is common. Mechanically functions fine. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. LEFt side buttstock and underside of forestock have sharp clear matching serial numbers. Complete with correct original matching numbered spike bayonet that stores in a tube under the barrel. A rare French Mle 1944 MAS rifle that will make a fine addition to a collection.
