Very good condition original antique British 3rd Model (India Pattern) Brown Bess flintlock musket in .75 caliber. The frizzen spring has a poor fit, otherwise works fine. Lock is marked “TOWER” with the King George cypher. Barrel has British proof marks. Metal finish is original brown showing some wear to the white. 39” barrel has a dark pitted smooth bore. Stock has original finish and shows some handling marks and scratches. Left side buttstock has a “Broad Arrow/BO” cartouche for Board of Ordnance. Right side buttstock has a cypher cartouche. Complete with ramrod. A hard to find original Brown Bess flintlock musket that will make an excellent addition to a collection. No Nepalese or Indian markings!
