Very good condition antique Japanese Type 18 Murata Rifle in 11mm Murata caliber that has a full untouched mum on the barrel and nice kanji markings on the receiver. Rifle is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers except the bolt. Metal finish is original blue showing some normal wear. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some handling marks. Toe has a crack through both sides. Wrist also has a crack. Right side buttstock has a nice roundel cartouche. Rear sight needs spring. Complete with cleaning rod. A good example of a Japanese Type 18 Murata Rifle.
