Very good condition WWII German 98k Mauser bayonet that is complete with matching numbered scabbard. Bayonet and scabbard are both maker marked “Elite Diamant” and dated 1939. Bayonet and scabbard both have matching Kriegsmarine (Navy) Ost See (Baltic Sea) fleet markings-“O.18688k”. Blade has original blue finish showing some normal wear, never sharpened. Hilt has original blue finish showing some normal wear. Bakelite grips have a good tight fit and show some normal handling marks. Lock button functions fine. Matching numbered steel scabbard has original blue finish showing some wear and several dents. A nice 98k Mauser bayonet with matching serial numbers and Kriegsmarine markings.
