Very good condition WWII Japanese Type 97 Arisaka Sniper Rifle in 6.5 x 50mm caliber. Mum is partially scrubbed. Left side of receiver has the Kokura Arsenal marking. Rifle is NOT import marked and has matching serial numbers on the receiver, bolt body, and extractor, safety does not match. Rifle has original scope rail and spring, no scope. Metal finish is nice original blue showing a little normal wear. Barrel has some light pitting. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Complete with correct original cleaning rod. A nice WWII Japanese Type 97 Arisaka Sniper Rifle for your collection.
