Good condition original pre WWI Imperial German Prussian Model 1852 cavalry saber. 33 ¼” blade has original bright finish mostly turned gray and brown. Hilt has original bright finish with some gray and brown patina. Unit marked “K.G.”, unknown what this stands for. Grip has some damage. No scabbard. A hard to find sword that will make a great addition to a collection!

have been told “this isn’t a standard 52 cavalry saber it’s a much rarer 1849 experimental Prussian guard hussar saber although unfortunately the blade looks like it was switched, it should have a date on the spine. These were short lived (1848-50)”
