WWII German K98k Mauser “byf 43” – Oberndorf 1943 Battle Rifle

Very good condition WWII German 98k Mauser Rifle in 8mm Mauser (7.92 x 57) caliber that is marked “byf 43” on the receiver ring for manufacture by Oberndorf in 1943. The “43” is very faint. Rifle is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers except the bolt and band spring. Handguards are unnumbered. Rear sight base screw is an incorrect replacement. Metal finish is original blue showing some normal wear. The bore is good with strong rifling and some light oxidation and pitting, may clean better. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Undersides of wrist and buttstock and right-side buttstock each have a Waffenamt “WaA135” cartouche. Complete with correct original cleaning rod and front sight hood.

Excellent condition Persian Model 98/29 Mauser Rifle in 8mm Mauser (7.92 x 57) caliber that has a sharp clear Persian lion crest on the receiver ring and BRNO factory markings in Farsi on the receiver side rail. Rifle is import marked on the barrel and has all matching serial numbers including receiver, bolt, and stock. Metal finish is excellent original blue showing very little wear. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Left side buttstock has stamped and red painted “118”. Right side buttstock has a sharp clear matching Farsi serial number.  Where history meets craftsmanship.

Good condition original WWI Imperial German Model 1916 helmet. Shell has nice original camo paint and a few dents. Maker marked “B.F.62” under the left ear for manufacture by F.C. Bellinger, Fulda, in size 62. Helmet has a reproduction chinstrap and is missing the liner.

Good condition WWII German 98k Mauser Rifle in 8mm Mauser (7.92 x 57) caliber that is marked “S/243G” on the receiver ring for manufacture by Mauser Borsigwalde in 1935. This is the third rarest manufacturer/date code of 98k production, with only 7,671 produced. Rifle is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers except the bolt. Metal finish is original blue showing some wear. Bore is poor, dark and pitted with worn average rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal wear and handling marks. Right side buttstock has “eagle H” and Waffenamt cartouches. Underside of buttstock has a faint matching serial number. Complete with correct original cleaning rod.   Hard to find. Impossible to ignore.

Antique Civil War Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver – Mfg 1859

 Very good condition original antique Civil War Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver in .31 percussion caliber that is serial number 150xxx, which dates it to manufacture in 1859. Mechanically functions fine and has all matching serial numbers. Metal finish is original blue mostly worn to gray patina. 4” octagonal barrel has a very good bright bore with strong rifling and a little pitting. Wood grip has original finish and a good tight fit with a few normal handling marks and a few tiny toe chips. Carry a piece of American history.

Mechanically functions fine and has all matching serial numbers. Metal finish is nice original blue showing very little wear. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Left side of stock has a matching serial number below the receiver. Wrist has original checkering. Has original cast brass buttplate.  A rare tool from the age of ocean hunts.

Very good condition WWII Italian Model 1938 Carcano Cavalry Carbine in 6.5 x 52mm caliber. Not maker marked or dated, but the “SW” serial number prefix indicates manufacture by Gardone VT in 1943. Gun is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers including barrel and stock. Shows rare and desirable German use, with a Waffenamt “HZaJt3” cartouche in the underside of the buttstock, which is a depot marking. Metal finish is nice original blue showing very little wear. Bore is very good and bright with strong rifling and a little pitting. Stock has original finish and shows some handling marks. Left side buttstock has a sharp clear matching serial number. Right side of stock has a chip by the receiver bridge. Folding bayonet functions fine. Complete with original two-piece cleaning rod set that stores in the butt trap.  Where two wartime histories meet.

WWII U.S. Model 1903 Springfield Rifle – Sedgley | Early RIA Receiver

Very good condition WWII US Model 1903 Springfield Rifle that was assembled by Sedgley for secondary issue. Manufactured using an early Rock Island Arsenal production receiver that is serial number 94xxx, which dates it to manufacture in 1907. Not considered safe to fire. Rifle has some aluminum die cast parts, and an early straight handle bolt. Barrel is unmarked except for “S in circle” on the left side of the rear sight sleeve. Metal finish is original blue showing some normal wear. Bore is bright and excellent with strong four groove rifling. Stock is correct Sedgley “front bolt” and has original finish with some normal handling marks. An American classic that stood the test of time.

WWII German HJ Youth Knife – RZM M7/27 (1940) | PUMA Maker

Good condition original WWII German HJ Youth knife that is marked on the left ricasso with RZM code M7/27 for manufacture by Puma and dated 1940. Blade has nice bright finish and has been cleaned. Hilt has original bright finish with some gray patches and areas of pitting. Checkered black plastic grips have a good tight fit and no damage. Right side has nice enamel HJ diamond that does not have the correct “wiggle” and is probably a glued replacement, but is original. Fitted in correct original steel sheath that has mostly brown patina with a little original black paint remaining. Leather belt loop has a tear, and the handle strap has a missing tip with female snap. A small blade with a powerful past.

Very good condition original WWII US military Remington Model 11 semi auto 12 gauge shotgun that features a 26” barrel with a Cutts Compensator, used for aerial gunnery training. Serial number 705xxx, which is in the correct range. Marked “U.S.” and “flaming bomb” on the receiver and barrel, and “MILITARY FINISH” on the receiver. Mechanically functions fine. Metal finish is nice original blue showing a little normal wear. Bore is very good and bright. Stock has original finish and shows a few normal handling marks. Buttstock has a somewhat poor fit at the wrist. Right side of stock has a hairline crack behind the upper receiver tang. Left side buttstock has faint “ordnance wheel” and “FJA” cartouches. Built for duty. Remembered in history.
