Very good condition pre WWII Czech VZ 24 Mauser Rifle in 8mm Mauser (7.92 x 57) caliber that has the BRNO factory crest on the receiver ring. Left side of receiver has a cancelled “E-lion-31” (1931 Czech army acceptance) marking, indicating Spanish Civil War use. Rifle is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers including receiver, bolt, and stock. Metal finish is arsenal reblue, in excellent condition. Bore is very good, mostly bright with a little gray in the grooves, and has strong rifling. Stock has been arsenal refinished and has nice even color with a few normal handling marks. Handguard has a small hairline in front of the rear sight. Left side buttstock has a sharp clear matching serial number and is also marked “CZECHOSLOVAKIA”. Complete with correct original cleaning rod. A nice looking Spanish Civil War VZ 24 Mauser rifle with matching numbers!
