Good condition original WWII German Luftwaffe first model officer dagger that is maker marked “ROBERT KLAAS SOLINGEN” on the blade with the “kissing cranes” trademark. Blade has nice original bright finish and was never sharpened. Still has original leather washer at the base. Late zinc hilt fittings have some cracking and show wear to the finish. Leather covered grip shows some wear and wire wrap is partially loose. Fitted in correct original scabbard. Leather covering shows some damage. Complete with original hanger chains. A good representative example of a classic Luftwaffe first model dagger.
