Good condition pre WWII Japanese Type 44 Arisaka Cavalry Carbine in 6.5 x 50mm caliber that was manufactured by Tokyo Arsenal without a series marking. Mum has two strikes but is NOT ground. Carbine is NOT import marked and has all matching assembly numbers except the bolt. Metal finish is original blue showing some wear. Bore is very good and bright with strong rifling. Stock has been refinished and shows some handling marks. Folding bayonet functions fine. A good example of an early Type 44 Arisaka Cavalry Carbine.
