Very fine condition antique Swiss Model 1889 Schmidt Rubin Rifle in 7.5 x 53.5mm caliber that is serial number 173643, which dates it to manufacture in 1893. Rifle is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers. Metal finish is original blue showing some normal wear. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. A nice Swiss M1889 Schmidt Rubin Rifle with matching numbers.
