Very good condition WWII French Mle 1936 MAS bolt action rifle in 7.5 x 54mm caliber that has an “H” serial number prefix, indicating manufacture in early 1940. Rifle is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers except the bayonet. Rifle is in original wartime condition and configuration. Metal finish is original black paint showing some wear. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some handling marks. Underside of forend and left side buttstock both have a matching serial number. Right side buttstock has a January 1940 dated roundel cartouche. Complete with original nonmatching numbered spike bayonet. A nice WWII MAS 36 rifle for your collection.
