Excellent condition original WWI Imperial German army trench fighting knife that has a Fraktur letter proof mark on the right ricasso, otherwise unmarked. 5 7/8” blade has beautiful original bright finish and was factory sharpened. Still has original leather washer at the base. Guard has original bright finish with a little gray and brown patina. Wood grips have original finish and a good tight fit with some normal wear. Fitted in correct original steel sheath that has nice original black paint and no dents. Leather belt loop and handle straps are soft and supple. Handle straps have working snap. A really nice WWI German trench knife for your collection!
