Good condition original WWII German RLB Luftschutz (Air Raid Civil Defense) 2nd Model Subordinate Dagger that is maker marked “PAUL WEYERSBERG SOLINGEN” on the blade. Blade has bright finish and has been cleaned. Tip is dull. Still has original leather washer at the base. Guard and pommel have original bright finish with some normal handling marks. Grip shows some normal handling marks. There are a few small chips by the guard. The enamel swastika on the sunburst badge has some chips. Fitted in correct original steel scabbard that is in very good condition. Scabbard has nice original paint and no dents. Complete with original leather hanger that is soft and supple and complete with clip. A good example of a hard to find dagger.
