MATCHING NUMBERS-NICE RECEIVER CREST
Very good condition Israeli FN 98k Mauser bolt action single shot .22 LR caliber training rifle that has a sharp clear Israeli crest on the receiver ring and Fabrique Nationale manufacturer markings on the receiver side rail. Rifle is import marked on the barrel and has all matching serial numbers. Metal finish is original gray parkerized showing some wear. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some handling marks. Right side buttstock is marked “0.22”. Complete with original front sight hood. These rifles are scarce, with only 1,800 produced from 1952-54. A nice example that will make a fine addition to a collection.
