Good condition antique Portuguese military Westley Richards “Monkey Tail” breech loading rifle in .451 percussion caliber. Mechanically functions fine and has nice markings. Metal is “in the white” with some gray and brown patina. Bore is very good with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some handling marks. Complete with a replaced cleaning rod. A hard to find Monkey Tail Rifle that will make a fine addition to a collection.
