Very good condition British No. 4 MK 2 Enfield Rifle in .303 British caliber that is marked “(F)” on the receiver side rail indicating manufacture by Royal Ordnance Factory Fazakerley and dated “12/49” for December 1949. Rifle is import marked on the left side of the receiver socket and has all matching serial numbers including receiver, bolt, magazine, and forestock. Metal finish is nice original black showing a little normal wear. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Underside of forend has a matching serial number. Underside of buttstock has red painted “dot” and “57”. A nice early No. 4 MK 2 Enfield rifle with matching numbers.
