Very good condition WWII Russian Model 1944 Mosin Nagant Carbine in 7.62 x 54r caliber that has the Izhevsk Arsenal marking on the barrel and dated 1945. Carbine is import marked on the receiver and has all matching serial numbers except the bolt, including barrel, floorplate, and buttplate. Bolt is Hungarian “02” marked. Metal finish is nice Russian arsenal reblue. Bore is very good with strong rifling. Laminated stock has Russian arsenal varnish finish and shows some handling marks. Left side buttstock has white painted “218”. Complete with correct original cleaning rod. Folding bayonet functions fine. A good example for your collection.
