Very good condition antique American 8 gauge double barrel percussion muzzleloading shotgun. Both locks are marked “Hapgood”. Barrel rib is marked “Hapgood Boston”. The right hammer does not hold at full cock, only half cock. Left lock works fine. Metal finish is original brown showing some normal wear. 32” barrels have dark bores with some pitting. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Wrist and forend have original finish and show some normal handling marks. Wrist and forend have original checkering. Complete with correct original brass tipped wooden ramrod. A massive and impressive American 8 gauge shotgun that will make a fine addition to a collection.
