Very good condition original WWII German police bayonet that is maker marked “WEYERSBERG KIRSCHBAUM & CO. SOLINGEN” on the left ricasso and has the WKC knight head trademark on the right ricasso. Bayonet is unit marked “S.B.1751.” on the left side of the guard for Schutzpolizei Berlin. Blade has nice original bright finish and was never sharpened. Hilt has original bright plated finish with nice age toning. Stag grips have a good tight fit and show some normal wear. Right side buttstock has original police eagle. Fitted in correct original leather scabbard that has steel throat and tip. Leather shows some wear and handling marks. Stitching and staples are tight. Scabbard has a matching unit marking on the throat. Nice WWII German police bayonet with matching unit markings.
