WWII GERMAN ARMY OFFICER DAGGER-CARL EICKHORN-ENGRAVED NAME “WETTKE”
Very good condition original WWII German army officer dagger that has Carl Eickhorn manufacturer markings on the blade. Blade has nice original bright finish and no sharpening, nicks, or dings. Still has original leather washer at the base. Hilt fittings have original silver finish with attractive patina. The reverse of the guard is engraved with the name “Wettke” and has some pitting. Orange grip has a good tight fit and no damage. Fitted in correct original steel scabbard that has nice original silver finish with a few patches of pitting, no dents. A nice WWII German army dagger, hard to find named.
