Good condition original WWI Imperial German fighting knife that has Anton Wingen Jr. and “OTHELLO” manufacturer markings on the left side of the blade and was styled after the dress bayonet. Knife has original bright finish with some gray and brown patina and a little pitting. 5 7/8” blade still has original leather washer at the base. Checkered wood grips have original finish and a good tight fit. Fitted in correct original steel sheath that has original black paint showing some wear and flaking, no dents. Leather belt loop and handle straps are soft and supple with some normal wear. Snap works but is weak. A nice WWI German trench fighting knife for your collection.
