Excellent condition Steyr Model M72 (Model SL) bolt action sporting rifle in .222 Remington caliber. Mechanically excellent and comes with one factory 5-round magazine. Fitted with a Bushnell Scopechief IV 4x scope that has clear optics and a simple crosshair reticle. Metal finish is excellent original blue. 24” barrel has original sights. Bore is very good and bright with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows a few normal handling marks. Wrist and forend have nice original checkering. Original buttplate is present. A nice, high quality Steyr bolt action sporting rifle. Rifle has a 1967 dated barrel and qualifies as a Curio & Relic.
